| Meeting Format |

I guess I'd just like to ask, 1.) How should meetings be planned, and 2.) What kind of format we want?
Now I already know what's happened in the past, what sort of works and what doesn't. But no ideas should be shot down for this.
There's a few options that I know of for a meeting format:
1.) Everyone brings stuff and we vote at the beginning of the meeting for that meeting. Order is determined by popularity.
2.) Everyone brings stuff and we vote at the beginning of the meeting for that meeting. Order is determined by people's schedules.
3.) At 9 of the meeting before, we vote for what people know they have, and bring it to the next meeting.
(The above would tend to be a hodge-podge of anime, maybe watching a few episodes of each anime.)
4.) We vote for a spike series, or a movie night, or a hodge-podge night, again at 9, the week before.
5.) We vote for someone to take next week's meeting as their own. Basically, it's their night to bring in whatever anime they want to watch. That means they're responsible for finding said DVD's, bringing them, and having enough people to watch them. Ideally, this would cycle through so everyone has a night. Or at least if we've got, say, 5 people who know what they want to watch, they'd take turns. Basically, the less nights you've had, the more right you should have to a night.
6.) We vote for six different series, and watch them 3 episodes at a time every Friday until they finish, and vote on a new series.
That's what I can think of so far. Quick reasoning for voting at 9 the week before: That way we know we've got the anime, most people are there at that point, it's not late in the evening, and that means we have some general chaos time to either pop in an episode or two of something random or just be socialites. I'll put up a poll after NBC when we've got all our options. And now I'll be quiet.

As it looks, we're on for Saturday for the RahXephon brainspike, but are we good for Towers and at what time?

Ok folks, this Summer we will be heading off to Somewhere. The question I have is do we go to Mitsuwa (and maybe actually get to visit some sites and do some shopping unlike last year) or do we head Way Up Nort' like we had planned on doing when we first started planning last year?
Opinions? I know it's early yet, but I'd like to hear what people have to say.

It's about that time: time for what I've found to be one of the greatest anime series out there to be shown at an OA Brainspike. We've shown it a few times in OA history(2 to be exact), usually to positive results. As of right now there are lots of people in the club that haven't seen it, so the atmosphere is perfect to either watch this series for the first time, or go back and analyze it a second (or... sixth in my case) time.
So come April 3rd, Shoujo Kakumei Utena will be shown at a TBA location. The series is long; 39 episodes in total. And since most of the best episodes occur during the final season, we figure it would be best to break the brainspike into two peices. The current plan is to begin at around 2pm on Saturday, showing the first two seasons(24 eps) in one block. Then everyone can go home and sleep, and early Sunday afternoon we'll begin the final, and most important season(15 episodes.)
Teh HIM, Mephisto, Kurt, and possibly Bikkle, Chuckdave, Vela, and anyone else that hasn't watched the entirety of this show yet: this brainspike essentially revolves around you people. If this date/time is really terrible for people, we'll shift things around. So, plan plan plan!

note: Utena's date is set and everything. Also, I refrained from adding the poll option "Fist of the North Star this weekend, next weekend, at the CON, and mid april."

What say we have the rah zephon brainspike this friday to sat? Looking ahead, this is the only way we can get in both this one and yasha brainspike before like april. i did note some things, namely the pancake thing, also that no one's said what we are watching...so...i think it could work. maybe. GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS. We could either do it in OA room as an OA thing <or> move after the pancake thing or when we'd get kicked out and go to chancellors or perhaps putnam lobby. Read my lips: I don't want to detract from OA, or the pancakes.

Next Saturday, 5 PM... It begins. Come if you can handle it. Don't if you are a pussy. All we need are the things and the stuff (aka the fuck and the shit). Don't post in lame-ass HIM's thread. Post in this one. Reversal PWND.
EDIT: IT"S ON THE 5TH OR 6TH GOTARD
